House project in Mikolow, PolandThis project is not only a house. The required program was demanding and divided into fragments. Apart from the house itself, the client wanted a detached garage, a swimming pool, a boiler room, an outbuilding, a terrace, a solar battery platform and also a big group of different trees, flower beds, bushes, fruit and vegetables. The main issue of the project is an urban principle saying that any function, designed on the basis of a circle, can be located on the plot in optional place and time. According to this principle all of the architectural objects and groups of vegetation are cylinders of various diameter and height, located freely around the plot. Lush, equally cut grass constitutes a background for all of them. The achieved spatial efect is specific and very fluid.
Ten projekt to nie tylko dom. Wymagania programowe były duże i podzielone na fragmenty. Oprócz samego domu na działce inwestor wymagał również wolno stojącego garażu, basenu, kotłowni, budynku gospodarczego, tarasu, platformy na baterie słoneczne oraz dużej grupy różnorodnych drzew owocowych, rabatów kwietnych, krzewów, warzyw i owoców. Istotą projektu jest urbanistyczna zasada mówiąca że dowolna, zaprojektowana zawsze na rzucie koła funkcja może być umieszczona na działce w dowolnym miejscu i w dowolnym czasie. Zgodnie z tą zasadą wszystkie obiekty architektoniczne i wszystkie grupy roślinności są różnej średnicy, różnej wysokości i różnego charakteru plastycznego cylindrami rozmieszczonymi na działce w swobodny sposób. Tłem dla ich wszystkich jest równo przystrzyżona, soczysta trawa. Rezultatem – specyficzny, bardzo płynny efekt przestrzenny.
