Anna Sieradzka - Kubacka (PL)
1976 born in Warsaw, Poland.
1997 – 2002 - studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (professor: Leon Tarasewicz)
2002-2004 – studied at the Akademia Filmu i Telewizji in Warszawie.
Main subject of her works is the human, his identity, thoughts, aspects of life and death. Sieradzka-Kubacka uses painting, sound and words as important elements of contemporary reality, as well as photography and video. She proposes solutions to the observed reality, especially humans. She juxtaposes her works in series, each serie presents a different element of identity like biological development, sexual identity, problem of co-existance, name or the body. Sieradzka-Kubacka seraches for elementary features which describe our identity and form our personalities. |
